"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance."  Wendell Phillips, 1852

Freedom Central USA is dedicated to the destruction of domestic fascism -- also known
as neoconservatism -- using truth and the Internet as WMDs.

The website editor is Hugh E. Scott -- author, investigative jounalist, Texas A&M graduate
(Class of 1956), Vietnam veteran, ex-USAF pilot, lifelong registered Republican and Goldwater conservative with a family history of honorable military service going back to 1776.

Scott originally launched FreedomCentralUSA in 2006.  In 2007, he changed the format
but kept the same damning revelations about neoconservatives (neocons) -- collectively,
in his opinion, the greatest threat to individual liberty in the United States since the Cold
War ended.

To advance their extremist rightwing philosophy, neocons formed the Washington-based
paperwork organization, Project for a New American Century (PNAC), under the
guidance of Bill Kristol, ultraconservative editor of The
Weekly Standard.

Position letters published by PNAC prior to 9/11 show its members (called "signatories")
promoted
United States
foreign policy initiatives not permitted by the Constitution, such as:

1.  Global domination with
America's armed forces stationed at
enduring installations
     around the world including permanent
bases in Iraq, which the Pentagon has not denied.

2.  Regime change of governments hostile to U.S interests.

3.  First strikes against countries that appear to be a threat.

4.  Preventive war.

According to PNAC doctrine, to insure that America
would be the world's top super power,
no other nation would be allowed to reach military parity.  By definition, the imperialist goal automatically guaranteed a permanent and expensive arms race with Communist China,
North Korea and Iran.

To achieve global domination, PNAC advocated increased defense spending to build an
armed force capable of fighting major land wars in two separate theaters -- such as
Iraq and
Afghanistan
.

Meanwhile, during the targeted DOD rebuilding period, which started on President
Clinton's watch, many PNAC signatories were invested in and/or worked for military-
industrial complex companies with lucrative no-bid, "single source" Pentagon contracts,
an invention of Vice President Cheney when he was Secretary of Defense for Bush 41.

Since the start of Gulf War 2, the main recipient of Defense Department single-source
awards has been Dick Cheney's old company, Halliburton.  Although the vice president
has claimed no financial ties to the cash-rich firm, he reportedly stands to make millions
on deferred compensation in the form of grandfathered Halliburton stock options.

Another prime DOD beneficiary is the Carlyle Group, a privately-owned limited
partnership firm.  Managed by PNAC member Frank Carlucci, Carlyle has received Pentagon sweetheart deals worth billions from the Bush 43 administration.

Reagan DOD Secretary

Not surprising to PNAC critics, George W.'s daddy, Bush 41, is a major Carlyle investor
with lucrative holdings in the neocon-controlled firm.

PNAC advanced its greed-driven, imperialist agenda through the elitist "New World Order"
Council of Foreign Relations, rightwing think-tanks, conservative nonprofit foundations,
Talk Radio and TV networks, mainly Fox News and C-SPAN.

12 characteristics of PNAC signatories

  1.  On average, they are wealthy white Republicans.

  2.  They are heavily invested in defense-oriented companies and global stock funds.

  3.  Most PNAC signatories went to Ivy League schools, primarily Harvard and Yale.

  4.  A large percentage belong to the aristocratic "New World Order" Council of Foreign
Relations (CFR) and have diplomatic and/or intelligence backgrounds.

  5.  Less than 10% of PNAC members served in uniform.  Of those, only a handful saw
      combat,

  6.  They oppose universal military service enforced by a draft, even during wartime, to
       reduce protests against conflicts like
Iraq.

  7.  They view the U.S. military as a mercenary force paid to do their bidding.

  8.  They believe taxes should be cut during wartime, not raised like in all past conflicts,
allowing for more war profiteering investments.

  9.  They will not discuss PNAC or Bush's AWOL National Guard record.

10.  They consider Islam an enemy religion.

11.  They favor
Israel over Palestine in virtually all foreign policy matters.

12.  Finally, PNAC members support Israel's rightwing Likud Party and approve of Zionist
aggression that exceeds humanistic Hebrew law, such as the barbaric 2006 bombing
       of
Lebanon.

The Origin of PNAC

PNAC was formed in 1997 by 25 prominent rightwing Republicans including VP Cheney,
his former top aide, Scooter Libby, ex-DOD Secretary Don Rumsfeld, former U.S.
ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Kahililzad and Paul Wolfowitz, ex-DOD Undersecretary turned
World Bank president.  President Bush is surrogately connected to PNAC by his brother,
Jeb, one of its founders.

Of the original PNAC Gang, at least three members were Vietnam draft dodgers: Cheney.
Libby and Wolfowitz.  Of the remaining 22 founders, only three served in uniform and none
saw combat, leading Hugh Scott to observe, "Neocons don't fight wars.  They just start 'em."

BELOW: The brains of Gulf War 2 and their military records.

Devious Dub-ya:

Quit the National Guard 30 months early and went AWOL.
Chicken Hawk Cheney:  Dodged the Vietnam War draft and bragged about it.
Dummy Rummy:  Avoided Vietnam combat duty while a Navy instructor pilot.
Weasel Wolfowitz:  Also evaded combat in Nam by dodging the draft.

PNAC's 1997 Statement of Principles contained the following sentence:  "The history
of the 20th century should have taught us that it is important to shape circumstances
before crises emerge, and to meet threats
before they become dire."

Even so, despite the self-serving guardian tone, PNAC published a 90-page report prior
9/11 titled, "Rebuilding America's Defenses," that contained just one reference to global
terrorism: a throwaway line which equated terrorists with organized crime.

A security threat PNAC founders never envisioned -- international terrorism -- ignored
by Cheney and Rumsfeld who were too busy targeting Sadam Hussein prior to 9/11.

Nor did PNAC whiz kids Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and Kahililzad, with all their
self-appointed "war wisdom," anticipate the problem of fighting foreign insurgencies,
one reason why
Iraq became a quagmire.

The PNAC conspiracy that triggered Gulf War 2

Three years before 9/11
, VP Cheney, Scooter Libby, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Kahililzad
and President Bush through his brother, Jebb, an original PNAC founder, advocated attacking I
raq
 to topple Saddam Hussein.

According to PNAC doctrine published in 1998, the first preemptive war in
U.S.
history
would be supported by the American people if they suffered a "catastrophic and catalyzing
Pearl Harbor-type event" (PNAC's words).  Thus, to George W. and his rightwing cabal,
9/11 was an excuse to attack Iraq, not a cause.

PNAC made its imperialist goal crystal clear on Sep. 20, 2001, with a letter to President
Bush, which said in part:  "It may be that the Iraqi government provided assistance in
some form to the recent attack on the
United States.  But even if evidence does not link
Iraq
directly to the attack, any strategy aiming at the eradication of terrorism and its
sponsors must include a determined effort to remove Saddam Hussein from power."

Domestically, 9/11 was a flag-waving, bullhorn moment used by Bush in conjunction
with the Patriot Act and his notorious signing statements to gain an authoritarian grip on
America

Prior to the Democratic Party's victorious 2006 midterm elections, Dub-ya and the
rightwing GOP sought total dominion over America's traditional, two-party political
system.  They wanted (and still do) permanent control of Congress, an enduring GOP
White House, conservative Supreme Court, rightwing federal judges, Republican
governors and legislatures in all 50 states, and a muzzled press.  The way it was in
Germany
before WWII.

Neocon Propaganda Arms

As part of his website mission objective, Hugh Scott is investigating tax-sheltered
"nonprofit" foundations that act
as rightwing propaganda conduits while claiming to be
nonpartisan.

First on the list is the conservative
American Enterprise Institute.  Last but not
least will be is a huge
sacred cow -- the 2.5-million member Veterans of Foreign Wars
(VFW).

Scott believes the VFW is very close to being a neocon front organization.  He made
the appraisal while applying for membership in January 2007.
His evidence is the
VFW-sponsored talk radio show, "The National Defense,"
hosted by John Newbury.

Newbury's Internet home page appears on the website for "Townhall Talk Radio," an
outlet for five rightwing commentators: William Bennett (a PNAC
founder), Mike
Ghallager, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved
and Dennis Praeger.
There are no
moderate or liberal voices on Townhall Radio.

Additionally, Newbury's home page provides links to other rightwing pundits, such as
Donald Lambro, who, on
January 29, 2007, accused Democrats in
Congress of
aiding
America's enemies.

Wrote Lambro, "The battle lines were carved into the Senate floor over a  Democratic
resolution condemning President Bush's war plans to send more
troops to Iraq.  But
it was hard to ignore the inconvenient truth that this ill-timed
measure will aid the
terrorists and depress the morale of our soldiers who are
fighting to defeat them."

To produce income through the Townhall website, Newbury sells "conservative"
T-shirts (his term) which he describes as the "Largest selection of Liberal-baiting
merchandise on the Net."

He also touts two favorable books about 2008 GOP presidential candidates John
McCain and Mitt Romney.  There are no pro-Democrat books or other such
products advertised on Newbury's home page.

By sponsoring John Newbury and no on else on Townhall Talk Radio, the VFW
showed itself to be a biased rightwing organization, which caused Hugh Scott to
withdraw his membership application.

Meanwhile, Internet users opposed to the Iraq War and President Bush's leadership,
go to Hugh Scott's other investigative website. www.King-George.biz.

To enlighten and entertain visitors, King-George.biz features 70 Bushwhacking
illustrations like the five examples below:

To help pay the development, research and maintenance costs for King-George.biz
and FreedomCentralUSA, Scott is selling trade paperback copies of his 2004
narrative nonfiction book -- George Dub-ya Bush, THE PHONY FIGHTER PILOT,
the only publication to date with hardcopy proof of White House corruption.

PHONY FIGHTER PILOT's smoking gun is a falsified presidential biography
George W. authorized to cover up his missing
(AWOL) service in the Texas Air
National Guard.

The bogus bio was found by Scott in February 2004 while
surfing the Internet for
information about Bush's controversial military
service.  Of all places, the text had
been published on a U.S. State Department
website for the whole world to see.
Everyone but the sleepwalking
press, that is.

Brazenly, the above paragraph claims Dub-ya flew National Guard F102 interceptors
almost SIX years when the actual time was just 27 months.  The fabrication contains
other misrepresentations as well -- all intentional, not typos or
mistaken dictation.

To validate his discovery, Scott called the Boston Globe.  Impressed, it ran the story
the next morning,
February 28, 2004
, and gave him credit as the source.
